It is highly likely that the other Yellowjackets series are also alive and part of his cult. Personally, I think Van is part of it, the girl survived the fire and had her face ripped off by the wolf, and she seems to be Lottie’s most devoted follower in the 1996 timeline. But in the ending, we know she climbs trees, eats dirt, and in his spare time creates blood transducers with the Yellow Jackets’ wildlife symbol.

After the pilots’ opening sequence showed one of the YellowJackets 2021 being hunted down, killed, and bled to death, it’s safe to assume that Misty (Hanratty) the Woodland Sausage Board was serving the group moments later as the meat of one of their own, teammates. Based on the Yellow Jackets ending, it appears that our main characters, Shona, Taissa, Van, Nat, and Misty, were somehow connected to the Lottie tribe.

The YellowJackets Season 2

When The Yellow Vests returns for a second season, there are so many mysteries to unravel. Although the first season of The Yellow Jackets is over, this finale is only the beginning.

According to an interview with Deadline given by Levin in mid-December, a second season has yet to be written, although creators (and married couple) Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson know what’s coming: They originally pitched the series as a series of five.

Levine also said that the writers had planned to meet in January to kick off the second season. At this point, a timeline for a second season has yet to be released, but Levin told Deadline that the writers’ room will meet in January to begin work on a second season.

As of now, there have been no new casting announcements or a set date for the second season. In the same The Hollywood Reporter interview we mentioned earlier, showrunners Lyle and Nickerson talked about what could be in store for The YellowJackets Season 2.

The YellowJackets wrapped up the first season with wild twists and shocking suspense. I didn’t notice it at all until it aired, and it quickly became one of my new favorite shows.
